It's right in front of you, no way to miss it. You know it is wrong but you don't bring a strong resistance while making fun of the ones being persistent. You want change in your life without sacrifice, advice, waiting on paradise. Blindly watching, cold as ice, as the memories unfold. It becomes a story that's already been told. Over and over again, personal sins, but your patience still doesn't wear thin.
"Knowing what the problem be is easy, doing something about it is what's hard."
our first road trip, loaded down feeling like christmas. Hope I don't let my anxiety ruin this. But I didn't have time to put it on my wish list. Last minute gift to see my favorite team compete. A little road trip, stress relief. It was a good game and they won. My son and I shared the joy, loved being with one another, and oh how blessed I felt. For the opportunity to take my son to the hill in Fayetteville.
"Me and my son going to the Razorbacks basketball game in Fayetteville. We bonded very well over it. Its the little moments that make the big ones special.
There are things you wanna do. Some things you don't and in some cases, just won't. Putting your duties aside hoping others will pursue and rescue you from the depths of procrastination spreads lack of determination. The to do list grows as more people forget to fret leaving their list past due. So you order the few who it wasn't up to... To do what you wouldn't do.
"don't expect someone to do your job."
It's hard, no matter the draw of the card. They are, however, constantly your responsibility to teach which is no small feat. Bow down to your ego or they will follow you into the depths of your mistakes. Protect their mind from the world's haste and replace it with the acquired taste of success. If you don't, their mind will remain hollow and the world they will follow.
"Your kids, as I have said previously, follow your actions. It's hard as an adult to relate to your children. Let your ego of being in charge go and teach instead of preach. Teach them to think for themselves. To think before acting, and to stand their ground. You do that by having self control around them."
In times of struggle you pedal thoughts through your mind telling yourself that everything is gonna be fine. You wanna' point at this, poke at them, but it all stems from lack of understanding with what's real and what's pretend. The end isn't far away if you start with the intent to finish no matter how bad it tastes.
"Treat each problem as if you were eating an elephant… One bite at a time."
Fear can drive one's life. Threats near, endangering one’s personal agenda. Strangers become connections as contentious friends become strangers. In the aftermath of anger, tears, and lessons learned is a rainbow. But only after the rain though.
"The soul would have no rainbow if the eyes had no tears."
Understanding what's right is hard to those not taught. Those that have fought to be true are, at times, the ones not being sought. Seeing the road less traveled ought to be the wrong one but it's not. Staying strong and true is to hard for average people to do. Choose wisely because there aren't many "U" turns.
"teaching your children to be good is hard if you're being bad. Teach your children at every opportunity cause they grow fast. You can't get some lessons back."
